The challenges vary by major and what year the student is in but everyone still faces some of the same struggles. Students have to plan their time wisely. For example, students have to make sure there is enough time for them to take care of themselves. Eating, sleeping, and basic hygiene are all important to the overall well-being of students. Also, study time is crucial to success in college. Throughout all of the schedules collected, study time took up the largest amount of time other than sleep.

The shelf at the top shows that even with work you have to have some things to remind you of fun times. The bird house is hand-made and is a sign of creativity. The back of the desk shows pictures of people that are important to the owner as well as documents that the owner needs quick access to. The top of the desk shows books and notes that are crucial to studying and being successful at school.

The bed shows the colorful personality of the owner. The green pillow is used for studying in bed and the light is also for that purpose. Most of the posters are inspirational quotes that the owner wakes-up to. They start her day off with words of wisdom and encouragement.

This student has a large amount of books and notebooks. They also have a photograph like the other desk that encourages them by seeing the faces of the ones they love.
